Deep Tissue Massage

mixed into 60/90 : $80/$95

Deep Tissue Massage aims to relieve tension in deeper layers of tissue in the body. Deep Tissue Massage is a highly effective method for releasing chronic stress areas due to misalignment, repetitive motions, and past lingering injuries. Due to the nature of the deep tissue work, open communication during the session is crucial to make sure you don't get too uncomfortable. Keep in mind that soreness is common after the treatment, and that intake of additional amounts of  water should be ingested to aid with removal of toxins that get released from the deep tissue during the session.

Geriatric Massage

mixed into 60/90 minutes: $80/$95

Geriatric massage is a form of massage designed to meet the specific needs of the elderly. It helps to improve blood circulation, relieve pain, and also increase range of motion. If you are elderly, geriatric massage can help you maintain and improve your overall health, as well as regain certain physical functions that have been reduced due to aging. In addition, since the elderly don't typically receive enough physical touch, this massage can also help alleviate symptoms of loneliness or depression, while creating a safe, nurturing atmosphere.

Myofascial Release

mixed into 60/90 : $80/$95

Myofascial release is soft tissue therapy intended to eliminate pain, increase range of motion, and rebalance the entire body. It does this by using massage techniques to stretch the fascia and release the bonds that exist between the fascia, muscles and bones. Fascia is the connective tissue that connects and covers all muscles, organs, and skeletal structures of the body. Direct myofascial release is sometimes known as deep tissue work. Indirect release applies light pressure and gently stretches the fascia; this allows for increased blood circulation and relief from pain.

Orthopedic Massage

mixed into 60/90 : $80/$95

Orthopedic massage focuses on treating specific painful conditions effecting the soft tissues of the body. Because orthopedic massage is designed to treat medical conditions, it requires extensive training and education. It involves releasing tense muscles, helping to stretch and lengthen tight muscles and tendons, and decompress rigid joints. My goal is to restore full health to the soft tissues of your body, both treating your specific conditions as well as improving your overall well-being.

Polarity Therapy

mixed into 60/90 : $80/$95

Polarity therapy is focused on the energy fields of the body, rather than the physical body itself. This type of body work is also called energy work, because the practitioner attempts to adjust the skewed energy fields of the body and bring them into balance. During a polarity therapy session, the therapist and client usually work together in a very calm, relaxed environment. Points on the body are gently held for possibly several minutes until a change is sensed by the practitioner, when at that point another set of points will be contacted and held or supported. This is often applied through clothing and no oil or lotion is used. It is a very calming, relaxing and therapeutic experience. Often helpful with patients experiencing recent trauma or PTSD.

Thai Massage

60 minutes: $80.00

Thai massage is more energizing and rigorous than most other forms of massage therapy. It's also called Thai Yoga massage, because I use my hands, knees, legs, and feet to move you into a series of yoga-like postures and stretches. My clients say Thai massage is like doing yoga without doing any of the work. No oil is applied, so you are fully dressed in soft comfortable clothing during the session. A single Thai massage session will help you release stress and relieve pain, and help you function more effectively at work and home.
